SKYDIVING!

On June 14th I went Skydiving at Pepperell Skydive in New Hampshire. It was the best experience ever. There was a group of us that went and got a really decent discount, which was awesome. Tiffany and I decided to go together. I was not too nervous until I was in the place climbing higher and higher in the sky. I was not freaking out, but Tiffany said that my eyes had "fear" written all over them. My amazing instructor Tom was really good about keeping me calm and getting me excited. The moment in the plane when they flew the door open and the other tandem groups would hopping out of the place was very scary. When it was our turn we slid down to the end of the plane, the we rocked left right TUMBLE. It was the most thrilling thing ever! The free-fall lasted about one minute and then we glided for a while before landing down. It was so beautiful and breathtaking. It was a great feeling to have been so fearful and nervous, and then to take the leap of faith and have the best experience ever! I highly recommend sky-diving to anyone who is thinking about it, even if your scared! You won't regret it!

Tiffany and I right after we landed

Soooooo nervous
My instructor and I right before lift off!

This is kind of a blurry picture but I like it because it was taken right before we got on the plane, I was freaking out right about now.

Waiting for the Bus

Every sunday we get to wait for the Number 1. Bus to take us to Harvard Square. From there we walk to the Church building, about a ten minute walk. This Sunday was so beautiful so we took some pictures.

Lovely roommate Katie Winder!

Tiffany... pretty much our 5th roommate!

Mary McCallister, amazing roommate!

RED SOX GAME

On June 3rd we went to a Red Sox game. They played Tampa Bay and it was so much fun! The weather was perfect and it was a great game, of course they won. It was the first Red Sox game that I had ever been to and I plan on going to many more. I actually was surprisingly very interested in the game and was really into it! I did grow up with two brothers and a Dad who were not really into sports, so it's fun to get into now while I'm in college. It was wonderful night and I am so glad that I got to share with these beautiful girls.

Fenway Stadium!

The fun keeps going

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE the Cambridge University Ward? Some of these pictures are from the first FHE of the summer which included a delicious BBQ and a game of Kickball. I love all the people that are here for the summer.

Lori Young is a flight attendant for Jet Blue and has been coming in town quite often. I have loved being able to have her stay with me and see her more often! She seriously is one of the most incredible girls that I know! I just love her!

Memorial day and Drew's Birthday!

I have been so terrible with blogging lately. I apologize. Well I can't believe that June is already over! It has been an incredible month though! Since being back in Boston I have been going to summer School at Berklee and working on the side. I have also been having a blast going on trips with friends and playing lots and lots!

The Porter trio- Dinner for Drew's 23 Birthday! We ate at a yummy place on Newbury St., Charley's. I Highly recommend it for anyone that comes to Boston!

Memorial day activities! We had a wonderful picnic with a large group along the Charles river and then we played Frisbee and football. It was a beautiful day!

Back to Boston

I have not blogged in a long time! I went to Arizona for my short three week break in between my school sessions. I absolutely loved my trip home. I love my family so much and every moment spent with them is always great! Cute Tara graduated from High School and that was so fun to be a part of! She is so incredible, I am so lucky to have her as my sister. Catie is as cute as ever! She made 9th grade cheer for Poston Junior High for the next school year. She is such a doll, the boys better keep their distance though! I love my family so much and was so grateful for the amazing time that I had to spend with them. I am grateful that Denver and Drew are out here in Boston with me. Tara will be coming out to live with me in the fall!
