The big 20!

I am officially 20 and I had a wonderful Birthday! I wish that my family could have been here to celebrate with me, but I am going home next week and am so excited to see them and spend some time with them! These are some highlights of my weekend.

Maya and Katasha made a delicious cake! These are some of the boys that came out to Boston for the summer to sell security! I am so glad that they came and I know that they will never ever forget this summer, Boston is pretty much the best place to spend any summer. John Hopkins took us to the lookout of the Boston Harbor. It was so beautiful and a great way spend my last evening as a teen. Thanks John!
So it rained all day on my birthday! We went to dinner and then when I got in the car my umbrella was shut and then it just popped open, I couldn't shut it. It was a very Carly moment. Even though it rained all day, I still thought it was a beautiful day. At least it wasn't snowing right?

Harbor Magic

This last saturday, Valerie, Tiffany, Katie, and I went to the Boston Harbor. There was a sailing place that had an open house and free sailing! So, we waited in line for a while, then had a wonderful time sailing on the Atlantic ocean right in the Boston Harbor. It was absolutely beautiful and a wonderful memory!

Last ten minutes of being a teen!!

So I am turning 20 years old in ten minutes! I have been thinking about my years as a teenager and about how wonderful those years were! So many memories! Tonight I had a wonderful party with some friends it the lovely Katasha's house. Then John Hopkins took us down to the Harbor and it was so amazing! I couldn't imagine a better way to spend my last few hours of being 19! Being a teenager has been wonderful. But... I am very excited to be in my twenties. Going from 19 to 20 just sounds like such a big difference. Well, it is! I am so excited for the many years to come. Life is wonderful and I am excited for the many things ahead of me! I know that there is a great plan in store for me and I can't wait to find out what it is, and to live it!

Spring

Spring is here in Boston, finally! Every morning I am filled with joy and love for this city. I absolutely LOVE living here. The weather is beautiful right now. I take every chance I get to walk outside and enjoy the city. I go to a Health Works Gym that is a mile walk from my apartment. Today while I was walking there I noticed so many people outside! They were walking dogs, playing catch, and just hanging out! It made me so happy and grateful for this beautiful city. The scenery in Boston is also amazing. I live on Marlborough Street which is just the cutest street ever! All of the buildings are really old and cool looking and have cute doors. Anyway, I love Boston and anyone who has not been here must come and see it soon! I love living here and getting to know this city. This is such a wonderful time in my life!  This picture is the street that I live on in Boston.
